Is there any info on Adobe ImageReady?

I have been messing around on it making little gifs mostly from family guy. And I was thinking of creating a image we animation in it. Just wandering if anyone has a tutorial on it. I learn better walking through examples. I just found out this does animation the 2 days ago when I opened it up to see what it was.

The program seems easy enough turn on and off the layers you want to show for each frame.

Here is an easy example of one with a TechNutopia logo look.

I am still struggling to get to grips with layers and how to manipulate them in photoshop.

Does anyone have a link to a good idiots guide to understanding layers, please?

Then I might be able to get to grips with Photoshop 7, instead of sticking with Elements 2, which I got with the machine originally.

Thanx Joel, Some bedtime reading for me to get to grips with.

I really want to get the hang of this then it will allow me to play with photoshop much more without so much time consuming trial and error (mainly error at the moment).

You guys might want to sign up for the forums at www.skinz.org That site has been around for about 6 years or so and they're just loaded with computer artists.
